The Scope for Project 19100 is for the rehabilitation of the Whitney Lift Station. Project will bring Whitney Lift Station into compliance with current District Lift Station Design and Construction Standards. Project encompasses a rehabilitation of Whitney's infrastructure to address pump plugging due to wet wipes and updating the Lift Station to today's design standards which will include but not limited to the following rehabilitation efforts: 1. A new 20-inch diameter Force Main is to be installed with air release valves and isolation valves/access ports. 2. Air release valves/access ports are to be retrofitted on the existing 24-inch DIP Force Main 3. Surge Protection 4. Full pumping redundancy is to be provided via bypass pumping equipment (either dri-prime or submersible). 5. Temporary overflow pond(s) to be installed for onsite containment 6. Drainage improvement to site and access road (flood control channel improvements are not considered part of the project scope) 7.Communications improvements 8.SCADA/electrical Improvements 9. Odor control 10. Safety improvements 11. Replacement of all appurtenances that has minimal useful life. The CMAR must be qualified to bid on public work pursuant to NRS 338.1379.
