Development of a Sports and Recreation Area in the Gwich'in Park campground to provide recreational opportunities to parks users during the summer season. The park itself is 8,800-hectares. The campground facilities include 15 campsites, 4 tent sites, drinking water, a kitchen shelter and a boat launch. There is access to hiking trails and an ATV track runs around the campground. TIMELINE: Plans are complete. Project may be updated when it has been approved to bid for construction. Coverage is discontinued at this time.
