**As of April 21, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work to be done for this project consists of improvements at Blackwell Forest Preserve to install new kayak launch, remove and replace existing floating dock, wood posts, and concrete ramp, paint pavement striping and restore adjacent landscape. This bid also includes one alternate for improvements at Herrick Lake Forest Preserve to install of a second kayak launch, and three alternates to upgrade decking to recycled plastic lumber at three locations: Blackwell Kayak Launch and Gangway, Herrick Lake Kayak Launch and Gangway, and Blackwell Existing Floating Dock Modifications.
