The tennis courts will replace the basketball courts currently at the site. Engineering Option 1 Asphalt Courts: 1. Site Prep - Pulverize and remove existing basketball court 2. Laser Grading- Laser grade to 1% pitch 3. Gravel- Furnish and install 44 yards ofgravel 4. Fence- Furnish and install 462 linear feet of fence posts and fabric 5. Net posts- furnish and install new net posts 6. Paving - Pave 2 (two) courses 7. Color coating- Furnish and install the 3 (three) coat acrylic color coating surface system to entire area. The minimum standard is 1 (one) filler coat and one finish coat 8. Line striping- Layout andstripe linesperUSTA.Apply one coat of acrylic line primer.Once line primer has cured, apply 1 (one) coat of textured white line paint. Option 2 Post Tensioned Concrete Courts: 1. Site Prep - Pulverize and remove existing basketball court 2. Laser Grading- Laser grade to 1% pitch 3. Gravel- Furnish and install 44 yards of gravel 4. Fence- Furnish and install 462 linear feet of fence posts and fabric 5. Net posts- furnish and install new netposts 6. Post Tension Concrete - a. Form work will be installed around entire perimeter of tenniscourts b. New net post sleeves to be set in their own concrete footings c. 2 (two) layers of 6 mil-poly will be placed over entire court area d. Encapsulated Post-tensioning tendons will be laid out according to PTI specifications e. A 5 (five) inch thick, 3000 psi concrete slab will be poured monolithically inside the forms f. Post tensioning cables will be stressed according to PTI specifications and procedures g. The concrete surface will be checked for flatness, according to ASBA guidelines. Any deviations will be brought to tolerance with 5000 psi epoxy concrete h. Following final cable stress, cable ends will be cut off inside cone holes and then holes filled with non-shrinking grout i. Sand entire court surface 7.
