The New Jersey Turnpike Authority (Authority) invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for aSimple project from engineering Firms prequalified and eligible in Profile Code:Profile CodeDescription(s)B-153Roadway Construction Inspection To qualify as a prequalified consultant, a Firm musthave on file with the Authority a current "Professional Service Prequalification Questionnaire" (PSPQ) package prior to submission of the EOI. A current PSPQ is one that has been on file with the Authority for no more than 24 months, or in certain cases for no more than 12 months. Only those Firms who have been prequalified for the specified profile code this project entails will be considered. Prequalification is not required for subconsultants. Prequalification is requiredfor Joint Ventures.The Authority shall be seeking participation of Disabled Veteran Owned Business Enterprises (DVOBs) as subconsultants. The project goal is 3% DVOB participation to New Jersey Businesses(see Section VII) of the Attachment to the Expression of Interest for the program provisions.The Authority shall be seeking participation of Small Business Enterprises (SBE) as subconsultants. The project goalis 25% SBE participation to New Jersey Businesses (see Section VII)of the Attachment to the Expression of Interest for the program provisions).This solicitation is for professional services required to provide supervision of construction services for Contract No. P200.491, Culvert Rehabilitation, Milepost 111.5 to ensure that it is constructed in accordance with the Contract Plans and Specifications. The work to be performed under Contract No. P200.491, which is expected to be awarded at the Authority's November 2020 Commission Meeting, shall consist of rehabilitation of twin 132-inch diameter Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) culverts with centrifugally cast, fiberglass-reinforced, polymer mortar (CCFRPM) pipe liner, and grout at Milepost 111.5 in Middletown Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey. The work also involves filling the voids around the outside of the host culverts and installing a concrete culvert invert prior to lining the culverts. The twin culverts, Culvert No. 1 (Northern barrel-595-foot-long), and Culvert No. 2 (Southern barrel-593-foot-long) convey Nut Swamp Brook under the Garden State Parkway (GSP). The Contract involves also the rehabilitation ofa48-inchdiameterCorrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) culvert (361-foot-long) with 40-inch steel casing pipe and grout (Controlled Low Strength Material) in the project area. The 48-inche CMP crosses under the entire GSP roadway to the south of the MP 111.5 twin culverts. The estimated construction cost for Contract No. P200.491 is approximately $9,000,000. As a precaution against the spread of COVID-19, the Authority is temporarily suspending the requirements to submit hardcopies of the EOI.
