Initiate design of Southeast Hall and alternates if applicable. Prior to demolition, District will coordinate relocation; contractor will coordinate utility disconnection and refeeds.Demolition of Old Administration Building Demolish existing one-story, concrete frame, unoccupied, 28,474 SF building built in 1963. Area to be prepared for construction of new building. Scope includes hazardous materials abatement as noted in referenced report.Demolition of DSPS BungalowDemolish existing one-story 2,461 SF modular building installed in 1971. After demolition, area to be restored to match existing surrounding area and reconnection to site lighting. PHASE 2: SOUTHEAST HALL, SITE WORK AND ALTERNATESSoutheast Hall (SEH) and Site WorkConstruction of new two-story, approximately 49,600 GSF multi-purpose building and new landscape/hardscape at the Multi-purpose Room plaza. Uses to be housed include Nursing and Health Sciences, Equity Programs, Disabled Student Services, and the Student Health Center. The scope of work also includes new East Parking Lot with electrical vehicle charging stations (EVCS), infrastructure for future EVCS installation, renovation of parking lot #1 (South Lot) and renovation of parking lot #10 (North Lot) to provide new accessible stalls. The East Parking Lot scope may involve coordination with public agencies for impact to the existing easement.New Campus Drop-off and Entry Plaza (Alternate)If the alternate is approved, construction of new landscape and hardscape to create a vehicular entry driveway loop and pedestrian plaza. This scope may involve coordination with public agencies for impact to the public right-of-way.Sidewalk Replacement (Alternate)Demolition of existing sidewalk and construction of new sidewalk adjacent to SEH project site. This scope may involve coordination with public agencies for impact to the public right-of-way.New East Vending Kiosk (Alternate)If the alternate is approved, installation of a vending machine kiosk with integral roof and cage and associated utilities.Installation of Additional EV Charging Stations (Alternate)If the alternate is approved, installation of electrical vehicle charging stations at each stall in New East Parking Lot.
