**As of November 9, 2020, the project was awarded to Cunningham Recreation for $43,499.85.** The City of Fredericksburg is requesting proposals to remove and dispose of an existing playground and design, provide, and install new playground. This project consists of the removal and disposal of an existing playground, and design, procurement and installation of a new playground system including fall zone material at Maury Park located at 901 Kenmore Avenue, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. Work is to include the design of a play system with particular attention to inclusive elements within an existing approximately 1,225 square foot play area, as well as the installation of commercial grade playground equipment, equipment footings, drainage materials, landing mats, ADA accessible path(s) to the playground elements, and fall zone materials. This project will be turnkey. All equipment will be assembled and installed by the Supplier. Playground Suppliers shall provide a maximum of two (2) designs for each Supplier represented for the park playground. The City of Fredericksburg requires Suppliers to design a play system that meets or exceeds all current federal CPSC, ASTM, IPEMA standards and ADA requirements. The proposals shall include the costs of delivered play systems as designed, inclusive of the equipment structures, components, hardware, detailed technical installation instructions and maintenance & operations manuals from manufacturer. If any prospective Offeror has questions about the specifications or other solicitation documents, then it is the Offeror's responsibility to contact the Purchasing Manager in writing, no later than September 16, 2020. Oral requests for information will not be accepted. No further written inquiries will be accepted after 4:00 P.M. local time on September 16, 2020. Any revisions to the solicitation will be made only by an addendum issued by the Purchasing Manager. Any addenda, notifications, extensions, cancellations or changes will be posted online All removal, disposal, delivery, assembly, installation and supervision costs must be included in the proposal. Payment for equipment and materials will be sent within thirty (30) days after delivery, assembly/installation, inspections and invoicing of the play system. All proposal amounts shall be guaranteed for not less than sixty (60) days after the proposal submittal deadline date. No proposal may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. Prices shall include delivery f.o.b. freight paid by the bidder to the jobsite. The Supplier will be given (120) calendar days to complete the proposed work. Working days will begin from the date of the award.
