Renovation of a fire / police facility in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
This project involves the replacement of all exterior doors, storefronts and windows in order to improve the insulation of the building envelope and to increase energy efficiency at Fire Station #2 Headquarters located at 434 S. Elm Street, High Point NC 27260 No proposal shall be considered or accepted by the City Council unless at the time of its filing the same shall be accompanied by a deposit with the City of High Point of a certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. A separate performance and payment bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required after bid award. In accordance with the Federal "Americans with Disabilities Act" (the Act), the City of High Point will not discriminate against individuals and will not do business with vendors who discriminate against such individuals in violation of the Act. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, as may in the judgment of the City, serve its best interest and the City further reserves the right to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted.
