Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Owen Sound, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The City owns and operates the Goodyear Sanitary Pump Station (GYSPS) and East Bayshore Road Sewage Pump Station (EBSPS). Components of each station are over 30 years old. Based on the alternative solutions evaluated in the Class Environmental Assessment, the preferred alternative includes the decommissioning of the existing GYSPS and EBSPS and construction of a new combined EBSPS at a location adjacent to the existing EBSPS, including revised sewage forcemain and gravity collection sewers. Under Phase 1 of this project, the new combined EBSPS is to be constructed, including associated work as specified. Documents are available at: https://owensound.bidsandtenders.ca/
