Renovation of a municipal facility in Soldotna, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough for 911 Back-Up Center Remodel. The project consists of the following: Remodel of an interior space within the Kenai River Center for use as a back-up emergency response center. Work includes upgrades to mechanical and electrical systems and installation of an automatic transfer switch. This contract is subject to the provision of State of Alaska, Title 36, Minimum Wage Rates. The subsequent contract will require certificates of insurance and may require performance and payment bonds. Bidders shall notify the Purchasing and Contracting Director promptly of any error, omission, or inconsistency that may be discovered during examination of the Bid Documents and the proposed work site. Requests from Bidders for interpretation or clarification of the Bid Documents shall be made in writing to the Purchasing and Contracting Director and shall arrive no later than 5:00 PM on September 10, 2020. Questions may be submitted through the online questions and answers section of this bid, faxed to (907) 714-2373 or emailed to purchasing@kpb.us. The subject line of the email should read, "Questions: ITB21-012 911 Back-Up Center Remodel." Oral questions may be presented at a pre-bid conference if one is provided for in the Bid Documents. Interpretations, corrections, material substitution requests or changes, if any, to the Bid Documents shall be made by Addendum.
