Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the pricing form. Work includes lining approximately 17,500 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer main line, 3,800 LF of 12-inch sanitary sewer main line, 300 LF of 15-inch sanitary sewer main line, approximately 5,000 LF of sanitary sewer lateral lining, lining of 122 manholes, and lining of 1,500 LF of storm sewer in various locations within Lower Paxton Township. Contractor is required to bid on all components of this project. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid in accordance with the provisions in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Proposal must be complete and the right is reserved to reject any and all Proposals and to accept any Proposal deemed to be most favorable to the interests of LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP. LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP is an equal opportunity employer. Successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price within fifteen (15) days of receiving a Notice of Award letter. Bidders can utilize the online Program without any initial or recurring costs. A fee 0.33% of the total work awarded, capped at $5,000, is assessed only to the bidder who is awarded the project.
