This Invitation to Bid is being used to solicit responses from suitably qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors for services related to the supply and construction of a replacement fire protection system at tipping floor, white goods-maintenance, storage rooms, and employee area in the Cumberland County Recycling Center located at the Ann Street Landfill in Cumberland County, North Carolina. The bid submittal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond made payable to Cumberland County, for an amount equal to 5% of the total base bid price as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the required Agreement will be executed and that a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond will be furnished. Pre-bid Meeting - In the event, perspective bidder(s) are unable to attend the meeting in-person due to travel restrictions, a conference call-in number will be made available by sending an email request to Patrick Wade, Dewberry Engineers Inc at pwade@dewberry.com. All contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license as required under the state laws governing their respective trades. The project also includes electrical, mechanical and general construction.
