This Invitation to Bid is being used to solicit responses from suitably qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors for services related to the supply and construction of a replacement fire protection system at tipping floor, white goods-maintenance, storage rooms, and employee area in the Cumberland County Recycling Center located at the Ann Street Landfill in Cumberland County, North Carolina. The bid submittal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond made payable to Cumberland County, for an amount equal to 5% of the total base bid price as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the required Agreement will be executed and that a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond will be furnished. Pre-bid Meeting - In the event, perspective bidder(s) are unable to attend the meeting in-person due to travel restrictions, a conference call-in number will be made available by sending an email request to Patrick Wade, Dewberry Engineers Inc at pwade@dewberry.com. All contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license as required under the state laws governing their respective trades. This project includes supplying the equipment and construction to demolish the existing fire protection system and replace the fire protection system at tipping floor, white goods-maintenance, storage rooms, and employee area in the Cumberland County Recycling Center at the Ann Street Landfill located at 698 Ann Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. The project also includes electrical and fire alarm work. The bid alternate includes supplying the equipment and construction to demolish the existing fire protection system and replace the fire protection system at the warehouse area in the Cumberland County Recycling Center at the Ann Street Landfill located at 698 Ann Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. The project also includes electrical, mechanical and general construction.
