Site work for a water / sewer project in North Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of 10/05/2020, bids were rejected. Lehigh County Authority will receive sealed bids for eight open-cut sanitary sewer repairs within the Wynnewood Terrace sewer system located in North Whitehall Township. The repairs will include excavation and repair of various sewer pipe main and laterals. The repairs are spot repairs and will not involve full length manhole run replacement. Questions and inquiries must be addressed Electronically Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the Owner in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price and in the form of a cashiers check or a Bid Bond (on the form attached) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions. The successful bidder must individually furnish Performance, Payment Bonds and Insurance per Contract each in the amount equal to the Contract Amount and meeting the requirements of Paragraph 5.01 of the General Conditions. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 9/18/2020 5:00 PM All projects are subject to the requirements of the Public Works Employee Verification Act. The work is subject to the minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Lehigh County Authority reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all, to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids. No bid will be accepted if not bid through the PennBid system.
