HRSD reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities, or negotiate with the low bidder as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Project or Work consists of the installation of an interceptor force main (IFM) from a proposed HRSD gravity sewer collection system and pump station at Cooks Corner to the existing Central Middle sex Treatment Plant in Saluda, Virginia. The corridor is along General Puller Highway, primarily in the median and a segment in paved highway, which belongs in the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) right-of way (ROW). A Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid.The project site is located along General Puller Highway, starting near the intersection of C FEdwards Lane and General Puller Highway and continuing along General Puller Highway eastward to approximately 2788 General Puller Highway in Saluda, Virginia
