Site work and paving for a civil project in Hillsborough, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.

As of December 8, 2020, construction has not started. A firm timeline has not been established, however, construction is not expected to begin prior to the spring of 2021.* Route 206, Doctors Way to Valley Road, Contract No. 066108022, Dualization, Median Barrier Curb, Intersection Improvements, and Structures, Township Hillsborough, Somerset County; Federal Project No: NHP-0206(328), UPC No: 108022, PE No: 1810551, CE No: 1810560, DP No: 20131. Estimated Completion Date on 05/14/2024 Estimated Range Range between $20,000,001 to $50,000,000 DBE/ESBE Goals for this Project 18% Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 3A, 3 or 5 Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d). Forms CR-266, CR-273, CR-272 and CR-274 (including all "Good Faith Effort" documentation) can be submitted now (with the bid) or within 5 days after bid opening via email to DOT-CR.Verifications@dot.nj.gov Pursuant to the Diane B Allen Equal Pay Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.14.b., the Contractor shall provide to the Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, through certified payroll records required pursuant to P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.), information regarding the gender, race, job title, occupational category, and rate of total compensation of every employee of the employer employed in the State in connection with the Contract. The Contractor shall provide the Commissioner, throughout the duration of the Contract, with an update to the information whenever payroll records are required to be submitted pursuant to P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.). Information regarding the Diane B. Allen Equal Pay Act and its requirements may be obtained from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD) website. LWD forms may be obtained from the online. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, No corporation, partnership, or limited liability company shall be awarded any contract nor shall any agreement be entered into for the performance of any work or the furnishing of any materials or supplies, unless prior to the receipt of the bid or proposal, or accompanying the bid or proposal of said corporation, said partnership, or said limited liability company there is submitted a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders in the corporation who own 10 percent or more of its stock, of any class, or of all individual partners in the partnership who own a 10 percent or greater interest therein, or of all members in the limited liability company who own a 10 percent or greater interest therein, as the case may be. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 (P.L 1975, c. 127); N.J.A.C. 17:27. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:32-44, contractor must submit the Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue Business Registration of the contractor and any named subcontractors prior to contract award or authorization. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.51, contractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Division of Wage and hour Compliance at the time of bid. General wage determinations issued under Davis-Bacon and related acts, published by US Department of Labor, may be obtained from the Web Determinations online. Minimum wage rates for this project shall be as specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on file with this Department. The attention of bidders is directed to the provisions covering subletting or assigning the contract to Section 108-Prosecution and Completion of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. The entire work is to be completed on or before the estimated completion date.
