Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Taft, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Bayside, Texas or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Performance Bonds Requires all prime contractors which enter into a formal contract in excess of $100,000 with the State, a county, or a municipality, a department, board, or agency of the state, a county, or a municipality and a school district or a subdivision thereof, to obtain a Performance Bond in the amount of the contract before commencing with work Payment Bonds Requires all prime contractors which enter into a formal contract with the State, a county, or a municipality a department, board, or agency of the state, a county, or a municipality; and a school district or a subdivision thereof, to furnish to the governmental entity a payment bond in the amount of the contract. The payment bond must be filed within 30 days from the date of the Notice of Award: Municipalities: If the contract is in excess of $50,000, a payment bond is required.Counties: If the contract is in excess of $25,000, a payment bond is required. The Town of Bayside, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Town of Bayside, Texas for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
