Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the construction of a 140,000-square-foot, eight-story above grade municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and municipal facility.
Construction of a new Montreal Justice Complex. This new building will house a Courts Administration Service (CAS) and an Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada (ATSSC), it will be built on a vacant lot at 46 St-Jacques street in Montreal, in a densely built-up urban area in the historic district of Old Montreal. The project will be carried out in construction management mode via a contractor hired by the owner under a separate contract. The new building will have to obtain a LEED v.4 BD+C Platinum certification, achieve a zero carbon footprint and be a model of sustainable development. Building information modeling (BIM) will be used for the realization of the project. TIMELINE: The construction manager is implementing the project by construction packages. Construction of first packages is already underway. Sub trades are not being sought at this time.
