Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to the construction of the restroom facility and (3) 16 x 16 picnic shelters along with ADA compliant sidewalks and decking. Deadline for submission of questions pertaining to the project will be May 27,2022. This is a partially funded FEMA project and also partial funded PARTF grant project B.All work shown as Phase 1, which includes site and building, will need to be completed by September 14, 2022 for FEMA deadline. C. Contractor shall use sill sealer below bottom plate on exterior walls D. Contractor shall install all sheetrock 1/2 " off floor E. Contractor shall install non operable, low E glazed windows in areas that receive Bahama shutters F. On Elevation Sheet 1- Wooden corbel to be replaced with vinyl, fiberglass or metal. G. Epoxy paint shall be used on interior walls H. Exterior paint to be completed in accordance with the provided specs. I. Trusses in floor will need to be dropped to allow for 2-5/8" sheets of Advantech (if available) per epoxy floor finish manufacturers recommendations J. Bathroom entry doors shall be installed with a 1" gap at bottom to allow ventilation. K. Bird screen or other device required in exposed ceilings between top plate and roof deck. L. Shelter requirements shall match restroom specifications. M. Shelters need to have 3:1 slope with 3 ft horizontal area around slab. Grade around slab should be no more than 4" from top of concrete. N. Entire site should be graded to drain O. Parking-this will be discussed on site at pre-bid P. Contractor to ensure electric is provided to the RPZ Cover Q. Davis Bacon does not apply to this contract. R. There is an Erosion and Soil Control plan that will be sent out via an addendum to the plan holders.
