Site work for a water / sewer project in Buford, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
For furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for construction of the Force Main Replacement Phase 1 project Bids received after the designated time will not be considered. The bid packages will be opened by a representative of the Engineer and witnessed by at least one representative of the Owner and a summary of the submitted bids will be sent by email to all Bidders. Bidders and the public may not attend the bid opening. Deadline for contractor questions, September 25, 2020. Any addendums will be issued by September 30, 2020. In general, the project will consist of the installation of approximately 3,400 linear feet of 6-inch diameter and 2,600 linear feet of 8-inch diameter DR-11 DIPS high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe force main and appurtenances to replace existing 6-inch and 8-inch cast iron force mains as well as rehabilitation of approximately 970 LF of existing 8-inch cast iron pipe force main by insertion of HDPE pipe. If an addendum is issued it will be sent to all parties who have requested the bid documents by the bid opening date.
