Federal-aid Project #: 18-DRI NFRA-18002-00055 City Budget Account #: 308-000-8800/50453-308-4150 The work, in general, to be done under this contract consists of constructing a new bridge to connect the existing sections of Notre Dame Boulevard to provide a transportation corridor over Little Chico Creek in response to the newly developed and planned development of the Meriam Park Development Project. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, cashiers check, certified check, or a bidder’s bond executed by an admitted surety insurer made payable to the City of Chico for an amount equal to at least 10% of the total bid amount, such guaranty to be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fail to enter into the contract. The Contractor shall furnish a performance bond in an amount at least equal to 100% of the Contractor price as a security for the faithful performance of this Contract and also a payment bond in an amount equal to 100% as security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the work under this Contract and furnishing materials in connection with this Contract. CONTRACT TIME The Project has 160 Working Days. The Engineer’s Estimate for this Contract is $4,795,500.00. Question Deadline - 02/13/2025.
