Site work and paving for a civil project in Lecanto, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
In accordance with Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, Citrus County, Florida ("County") is requesting qualified consulting engineering firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications to provide professional engineering and consulting services for the proposed Suncoast Parkway 2 Utility Extension Project from SR44 to CR486. The Professional Design Engineer (Respondent) selection process will include this Request for Qualifications. Insurance Required - Yes Bid Bond Required - No The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida's Turnpike Enterprise has been approved for funding to move forward with the Suncoast Parkway 2 project starting at State Road 44 (SR44) and terminating at County Road 486 (CR486). Citrus County Utilities had been granted authorization by the Turnpike Enterprise to construct a water transmission line and a sewer force main along the multi-purpose trail's right of way that runs parallel with the Parkway alignment. It is the intent of the County to have a water and force main designed and permitted with complete construction plans and specifications before the official announcement of the Parkway's Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida's Turnpike Enterprise Bid due date.
