All responsive bids must include a completed, executed and notarized Contractor Responsibility Certificate. The qualifications for the contractor will be reviewed on the basis of the proposed bidders past performance on work of a similar nature for Clinton Township and other owners. Provisions for this qualification procedure will be included in the bid documents. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The approximate primary quantities involved in this work are as follows: Mobilization, (5% Maximum) - 1LS Audio-Visual Record of Construction Area - 1 LS 100 Kw Generator (480/277 V) Natural Gas Fired, Complete - 1 LS Automatic Transfer Switch (225 Amp, 600V), Complete - 1 LS Modify Electrical System (225 Amp) - 1 LS Modify Existing Gas Service - 1 LS Restoration - 1 LS This primary work shall be included together with alternate related work as well as restoration. A certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond, executed by the bidder and a surety company, payable to Clinton Township, in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount, shall be submitted with each bid. BONDS AND INSURANCE The accepted bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, and Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond of 100% for two years of the Final Contract Price. The cost of the bonds will be paid by the accepted bidder. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of bids. AWARD OF CONTRACT Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner and their respective Employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any bid.
