Bids must be submitted on the forms found in the Bidding Document; must contain the names of every person or company interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that this project be complete no later than November 30th, 2020 Each bidder shall be required to file with his proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The guaranty shall be a bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount. A certified check or cashier's check for ten percent (10%) of the bid can be submitted in lieu of a bond. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wages rates for Public Improvements for Williams County, Ohio as determined by the Secretary of Labor, under the Federal Labor Standards. Contractor compliance with the non-discrimination and equal employment opportunity requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI) and Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. SPECIAL ATTENTION MUST BE GIVEN to all the requirements contained in the bid packet, particularly to prevailing wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a performance bond for 100% of the contract price. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the schedule closing time for the receipt of bids, but no bidder shall withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual opening thereof. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the County.
