The City of Bellingham (City) is seeking written statements of qualifications from consulting firms with expertise in Civil and Structural design. Professional engineering services to be performed by the Consultant consist of surveying; geotechnical evaluation; structural design of two federally funded bridge replacements over Whatcom Creek; local, state and federal permitting; facility evaluation; completion of preliminary engineering; and Plan, Specification and Estimate (PS&E) preparation for a bid-ready package for the two Federally Funded projects. Construction is expected in early 2022. Other services, including construction engineering and/or administration, may be added/removed from the contract contingent upon funding availability and project needs.
