Site work and new construction of a detention facility in Brockville, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a detention facility.
Construction of a new correction complex to replace the Brockville Jail. The new building will be built on the grounds of the St. Lawrence Valley Correctional and Treatment Centre. Scope includes expanding the St. Lawrence Valley Correctional and Treatment Centre (SLVCTC) in Brockville. TIMELINE: Project will be managed through a Design-Build-Finance procurement method. Conceptual planning and designs are ongoing. Request for Qualifications for General Contractors / Teams is currently scheduled: January - March 2026. Invited Request for Proposals for prequalified Teams / Consortia is tentatively scheduled: October - December 2026. Contract execution is currently targeted: April - June 2027. *Estimated total capital costs are $200-499 million.
