Conversion of 2,180 linear feet of an asphalt ditched street to a curb and gutter section with asphalt pavement (by others) including sidewalk installation. Installation of 580 LF of 8" PVC Sanitary Sewer Main, 1,500 LF of 8" DIP Water Main, 4,900 LF of Concrete Curb & Gutter, 2,000 LF of 12" - 30" RCP Storm Sewer and 21,800 SF of 4" & 6" Concrete Sidewalk. Pre-Qualification: Yes Pre-Bid Meeting Info: Not Required Bids will then be reviewed, tabulated, and submitted to the Board of Public Works on Monday, May 14th , 2022 for consideration and recommendation to the Common Council at their regular meeting on Tuesday, May 22nd , 2022 for Award of Contract. Contract 2022-01 includes the reconstruction of E. 17th Street, Maple Avenue to Peach Avenue. The reconstruction of this existing street will include: partial replacement and extension of the existing sanitary sewer mains, replacement of sanitary sewer laterals, partial replacement of the existing water mains and services, partial replacement and extension of existing storm sewer, installation of storm sewer laterals and pipe underdrain; along with street improvements including fabric, BreakerRun Stone subbase, crushed aggregate base course, concrete curb & gutter and sidewalk; and all traffic control, erosion control, fencing, turf restoration, tree planting and pavement marking. Asphalt driveway approaches and asphalt pavement will be done by others. 17th Street will be closed for this reconstruction (in stages) however, pedestrian access must be maintained to residential properties at all times. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
