Kane County, Utah is accepting proposals for a Zion Ponderosa Wood Fuels Reduction project. The project involves the cutting and removal of certain tree species over approximately 28 acres, in and along Zion Ponderosa Ranch located in Kane County, Utah. The entire 28 acres will be a first entry removal site. Removal methods will include the use of chainsaws to hand cut and thin pinion pine and juniper. The project is scheduled for the fall of 2020. The county reserves the right to reject proposals that are determined to be non-responsive or non-responsible. Should the county award a contract, it will be to the offeror whose proposal is determined in writing to be most advantageous to the county based on the factors set forth in the request for proposals.
