The project is expected to be awarded on November 21, 2022** Project consists of a new 6,800 square foot fire station (FS 56) located on the west side of Lovers Lane, approximately 400 ft south of Tulare Avenue. The new building construction is a combination of concrete, masonry, steel, and wood. Portions of the existing site are being demolished to facilitate construction of the new facility. The project includes development of 0.82acres of site improvements around the building including curb, gutter, sidewalk, paving, and concrete driveways. Estimate for Total Project Cost: Project cost range is anticipated to be $6,000,000.00 The City of Visalia does not provide an Engineer's Estimate; however the total Project Budget is $6,000,000 which is an estimate of the total project delivery costs including, but is not limited to, construction, engineering design, construction support, city project management and administrative costs. Bids are required for the entire work, complete and in place. Time of Completion: Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time (365 calendar days after the date established in the Notice to Proceed for commencement of the Work).
