Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Mineral, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
Construction of a pre-engineered steel building to house a shop and offices for Fire District owned equipment. Bidders are required to provide a certified or cashier s check, or bid bond executed by Bidder and approved Surety Company, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid amount. A successful bidder shall forfeit any surety required upon failure on the Bidder s part to enter into a contract within 10 days after the award of such contract(s). Bids are required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and Bidders are hereby notified that employees and applicants of the contractor shall not be discriminated against in the accordance with Illinois Labor Regulations and Standards. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all laws, statues, regulations, ordinances, rulings or enactments of any government authority which are applicable to the work or to the project. The successful bidder shall pay prevailing wages and shall utilize equal employment opportunity hiring practices in connection with this project. The Mineral Gold Fire District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any inconsistencies or informalities and to select the bid that best meets the requirements of the project.
