Imperial Irrigation District (IID), an irrigation district established under Division 11 of the California Water Code, Sections 20500 et seq., that provides non-potable water, farm drainage and power services to the lower southeastern portion of California's desert, is requesting proposals from highly qualified Respondents to: Relocation of a total of 25 poles (sixteen transmission and nine distribution) with co-located IID telecommunication lines: Installation of new steel poles and foundations. Remove and replace the existing 795 AAC conductor transmission wire. Remove and replace the existing 397.5 AAC conductor distribution wire . Installation of new line hardware including replacement of the existing porcelain insulators. Remove and install a new OPGW communication line. Removal and disposal of old structures. Questions concerning this Primary Request for Proposal should be directed in writing, no later than 5:00 p.m., Local Time, Tuesday, September 29, 2020 to Mr. Marty P. Holbrook, purchasing agent, via email to: purchasing@iid.com. Responses to questions received will be provided digitally on the portal under this solicitation listing to all participants no later than 5:00 p.m., Local Time, Wednesday, October 7, 2020. Anyone not signed in at the official start of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to submit a proposal. Anyone who does not attend the entire mandatory meeting will not be credited with attending.
