Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Stow, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Location: Stow Project Type: Bridge - Construction MassDOT - X Bridge Superstructure Replacement Bridge Number S-29-001 (Steel) Gleasondale Road (Route 62) Over the Assabet River The contract prices shall include the furnishing of all materials (except as otherwise herein specified), the performing of all the labor requisite or proper, the providing of all necessary machinery, tools, apparatus and other means of construction, the doing of all the abovementioned work in the manner set forth, described and shown in the specifications and on the drawings for the work, and in the form of contract, and the completion thereof within 680 CALENDAR DAYS upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed, except that if the completion date falls between December 1 and March 15 then the same number of days beyond December 1st will be extended after March 15th This authorization expires on April 5, 2023. You must commence or be under contract to commence the work authorized herein by April 5, 2023, and complete the work by April 5, 2024. If not, you must contact this office to determine the need for further authorization before beginning or continuing the activity.
