Repair/replace existing roofing systems at buildings 15/16 connector at Catawba Hospital in Catawba, Virginia. Bid Bond is required. This project generally consists of removing the existing built-up and shingle (asphalt and slate) roofing in its entirety down to the existing concrete, metal and plywood roof decks. The new fully adhered TPO membrane and accessories will be installed over new 1/2 " cover board, tapered insulation, rigid base insulation on the roof decks. A vapor barrier shall be installed over the existing lightweight concrete deck prior to installing the new roofing materials. New fiberglass shingles and accessories will be installed on the existing plywood roof deck. The building must remain operational at all times during construction. The contract is to be awarded on a lump sum basis as follows: the Total Base Bid Amount including any properly submitted and received bid modifications plus such successive Additive Bid Items as the Owner in its discretion decides to award in the manner set forth in Paragraph 12 of the Instructions to Bidders.
