The Village of Cary is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the following project: Traffic Signal Interconnect Relocation. The Village of Cary is requesting proposals from qualified firms for a signal interconnect relocation near the intersection of Route 14 and W. Main Street. It is the responsibility of the bidder to meet all requirements of the bid documents. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check made payable to the Village of Cary for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond in the full amount of the bid. The Municipality reserves the right to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder most favorable to the Municipality, as determined by the Municipality. The Municipality also reserves the right to reject any bid or part of a bid that does not conform to the bidding requirements or to modify or waive all formalities and technicalities in a bid, or to reject all bids. In recent years, the Village of Cary has been in the process of building a new Metra Station. As part ofthis project,the IllinoisDepartment of Transportation hasrequired the installation of a new guardrail along the building.In order to install this guardrail, there is a need to relocate the signal interconnect at this intersection
