Closing Time: 3:30 P.M. (NT) ** Please note there has been 1 addendum issued for this project. ** The work will be carried out within the Cape Spear National Historic Site in St. John's NL. It includes the removal and disposal of an existing septic system disposal field and replacement with a new raised bed disposal field complete with a new effluent pump system. More specifically the project will include: * New septic field in the same location as the existing field * New dosing system to control flow into the field * Removal of existing septic system, including excavation of dosing chambers and removal of mechanical components and disposal fields * Curb and gutter along the north and east of the existing visitor parking lot to convey waterflow away from the septic field * French drain to intercept groundwater flow * Raising the field to match the grade of the parking lot * Extending ditching to the south and west to improve drainage and repair culvert * Capping the septic field with a less permeable soil *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
