The project is to complete the renovation and modernization of Mount Vernon High School Old Main building along with various campus site improvements. Bids may be submitted at the office of Lydig Construction, 3180 139th Ave SE, Ste 110, Bellevue, WA 98005 any time prior to the bid deadline in person or via US Mail or other delivery service (FedEx, UPS, etc). Dave Reeves will be in the Lydig office the day of to accept bids one hour prior to the bid submission time. Proposals received after the time noted above will not be considered. Bids will be collected and a public opening will be conducted via Zoom Meetings, with the link being provided at a later date. The GC/CM and Owner reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities on the bids received. The prebid walk will be held SEPT 22nd at 8:00am for BP's 1-9, and SEPT 23rd at 8:00am for BP's 10-18. All bidders are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to bidding to become familiar with the building, site and the surroundings in accordance with the Contract Documents. All persons on site must strictly adhere to the Washington State Governor's Proclamations regarding COVID-19. Bid documents will be available around September 14th, 2020. Requests will not be accepted for hard copies of contract documents if made less than 5 business days prior to advertised bid date. Contractors may obtain sets of plans and specifications by submitting a refundable $100 deposit per set made payable to Lydig Construction, Inc. This deposit will only be refundable if the set(s) are returned within 10 calendar days after the bid date and the set(s) are returned in good condition and not marked up. The cost of delivery is additional and is to be paid directly to the printer and is not refundable.
