Renovation of a municipal facility in Munster, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The renovation and upgrade will consist of the removal of the existing air handler, the (48) terminal units and the BAS. The hot water plant and associated cabinet and unit heaters shall remain with the exception of the terminal unit hydronic heating coils which shall be removed. A new air handler and new terminal units with hydronic heating coils shall be installed. All new equipment shall be of similar size and capacity to the existing equipment to be removed. A new BAS designed to control and monitor the hot water plant for the Munster Town Hall and Munster Police Department as well as all HVAC equipment for Munster Town Hall and the Munster Police Department shall be provided. An independent BAS shall be designed to control and monitor the existing HVAC system at the Munster Fire Department Station 1. All contractors and subcontractors listed in each bid must be properly licensed in the Town of Munster as a condition of being awarded the project. Contractors may contact the Munster Building Department to inquire on General Contractor and Sub-contractor licensing and requirements No bidder may withdraw his proposal for a period of 60 days following the date set for receiving bids. The Town of Munster reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 60 days, and said bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Town of Munster further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the contract to any Bidder all to the advantage of the Town of Munster or to reject any and all bids.
