Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Danbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The last day that questions will be accepted and responded to shall be Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. A bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall accompany each bid. A non-collusion statement for Prime Contractors and any addendum acknowledgment must also be submitted at the time of the bid. A performance, labor and materials bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid will be required. This is a State assisted contract. The contractor must comply with the requirements as specified herein. This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including set-aside (25% SBE and of that 25% SBE set-aside, a net of 6.25% must be awarded to MBE) and non-discrimination requirements enforced by the CHRO The City of Danbury reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the contract to the bidder deemed to be for its best interest. Work consists of all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to replace the existing bridge carrying Franklin Street Extension over Mercers Pond Brook with a new precast concrete frame, and related work and mate Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the Purchasing Agent, 155 Deer Hill Avenue, Danbury, Connecticut, 06810 Written requests may also be faxed (Fax No. 203- 796-1527) or e-mailed to the Purchasing Agent (c.volpe@danbury-ct.gov)
