Bidders with appointments will be furnished with a copy of the specifications, plans and proposal by the Engineer at the cost of preparation thereof, $39.00, which is non-refundable.
Social distancing measures shall be in effect during the inspection. Bidders may also obtain a copy of the plans, specifications and forms of bid via FedEx delivery upon submission of a check for the cost of preparation indicated herein and the submission of a FedEx mailing label, which shall be emailed to tlomurno@twp.burlington.nj.us. The Township of Burlington shall not be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of any documents shipped via FedEx. Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township of Burlington, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the Township of Burlington for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Payment, Performance and Maintenance Bonds
