For Utilities Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Finish Water Pumping Improvements The Project consists of the following major components: The project consists of improvements to Decatur Utilities water treatment plant finished water pump station and plant discharge piping. Work will include demolition of existing pumps, piping, pump bases, and electrical equipment. Provide and install four (4) new 300 HP vertical turbine finished water pumps, one (1) new vertical turbine back wash pump and associated electrical and mechanical components. Includes demolition and abandonment of existing cast iron pipe, and installation of new 12"-42" ductile iron pipe, fittings, and valves. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by security submitted on the prescribed Bid Bond form in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the amount bid but not more than $10,000.00.
