The work consists of the following: Upgrading the existing sanitary system at Cupsogue County Park to include an innovative wastewater treatment system. Work includes selective demolition of existing wastewater components, installation of a new septic tank and innovative treatment system, installation of new sanitary piping, and installation of all power and control wiring for a complete and operable treatment system. The installed innovative and alternative wastewater treatment system shall connect to the existing leaching system. A three year warrantee, including all required O&M, for all installed innovative wastewater treatment system shall be included. A new kitchen waste disposal system shall be installed for future connection to the proposed snack bar being designed by SCDPW. This work includes the installation of a new grease trap, septic tank, leaching system, and sanitary piping. Installation of three (3) Innovative wastewater treatment systems. System #1 shall serve the existing Activity Building (P2545) & existing Shower Building (P2751) located at Cathedral Pines County Park. System #2 shall serve the existing Trap & Skeet Office (P2301) and System #3 shall serve the existing Comfort Station (P2306). System #2 and System #3shall be located at Southaven County Park. Work for all three systems includes demolition of existing wastewater components, installation of new Innovative treatment systems, replacement and installation of leaching fields, installation of all power and control wiring for complete and operable treatment systems. Each system shall be supplied with a three year warrantee including all required O&M is included. In addition to the above-mentioned items, System #1 at Cathedral Pines County Park will also require the installation of a new grease trap for the kitchen waste, andseparation of internal building sanitary piping to isolate sanitary waste from the kitchen waste.
