Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 29,500-square-foot fitness / recreation center; and 2,000-square-foot fitness / recreation center.

Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract. All proposals shall be lump sum. The state reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals. Remove existing ballasted EPDM roofs, insulation and flashing: Roof A) down to existing gypsum board. Roof B) down to metal deck. Dispose of. Remove abandoned penetrations and repair deck. Remove all existing coping and metal flashings or any other roof accessories and dispose of. Inspect all existing wood nails and replace as needed. Roof A) existing: ballast, EPDM , approx. 2.5 inch ISO, Tapered crickets & saddles, 5/8 inch gypsum, metal deck. Roof B) existing: ballast, EPDM, 1 inch HDFB, 5/8 inch gypsum, metal deck. Roof A) replace any damaged gypsum, replace any damaged wood blocking, install plywood on walls as needed, raise all penetrations under 8 inch minimum height, raise gas and water lines as needed, mech attach 2 inch ISO base layer, adhere layer of 2 inch HD composite ISO complete with saddles and crickets with 1/2 inch HD (100psi) ISO overlay to meet FM 1 90. New FA PVC roof membrane with all flashings, copings, scuppers, counter flashing, edge metal & accessories. Add extensions on all overflows, re-route overflow drain as shown, new pipe supports, widen scuppers. Roof B) replace any damaged wood blocking, mech attach 2 inch base layer ISO, adhere 1/2 inch layer HD (100psi) ISO, FA new Class A PVC roof membrane complete with all flashings, edge metal, gutters and accessories. Paint underside of metal deck.
