The City of Manchester is seeking prequalification statements from construction contractors for two separate largescale pipeline projects: the Cohas Brook Sewer Project, Contract 4 The projects are scheduled to begin construction in winter 2020/2021 and spring 2021 respectively. The Cohas Brook Sewer Project, Contract 4 includes construction of new sewers in southeast Manchester, including approximately 10,800 feet of new 24-inch sanitary sewer and 7,500 feet of new 8-inch sanitary sewer in Sunset Pine Drive, Bodwell Road, Pheasant Lane and cross-country areas at depths up to 27 feet, appurtenances, roadway reconstruction of affected streets, and restoration of private property. The work also includes abandonment/removal of up to five (5) sewer pumping stations and abandonment/removal of approximately 9,600 feet of associated 4-inch to 8- inch force main. Construction duration is 675 calendar days for substantial completion and 900 calendar days for final completion.
