Q&A Deadline: 9/23/2020 12:00:00 PM The Town of Bristol, through its Department of Parks and Recreation, is seeking bid proposals for the construction of a 68' X 104' Basketball Court on the Town Common located on Church St. Vendor is responsible for: o Remove and Depose of existing court o Install 8 " of Gravel for a 68'x104' Court o Install 3" dense course. Compact and roll o Furnish and Place 1 1/2 " Binder Course o Furnish and Place 1 1/2 " Surface Course o Install Goal poles with 3500 psi concrete footings and anchor bolts o Install New Backboards and Rims (supplied by others) o Laser Grade to Prevent Puddling o Apply One Coat of Acrylic Resurfacer and Two Coats of Combination Surface (Color TBD), Mask and Paint 2" White Textured Lines for Basketball o Install (2) Player Benches (benches provided by others) o Restore Loam, Seed and Grade Surrounding Area It is the bidder's responsibility to see that the bid is delivered within the time and at the place prescribed. Bids received prior to the time of opening will be securely kept, unopened. Bids may be withdrawn upon written request (on the letterhead of the bidder and signed by the person signing the bid) if such request is received prior to the time fixed for opening. Bids may be modified in the same manner. No bid or modification thereof received after the time set for opening will be considered, even if it is determined by the Town that such non-arrival before the time set for opening was due solely to the delay in the mail for which the bidder is not responsible. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Town may require, to reject any or all bid proposals, to waive any technical defect or informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any bid or portion thereof.
