Notice is hereby given to bid on a Mechanical Contract and Electrical Contract or Single Prime Contract for construction of an Air Quality Upgrade at the State Capitol Grounds in Bismarck, North Dakota as described in the Contract Documents as prepared by Prairie Engineering, P.C., Bismarck, North Dakota, Engineer. Mechanical work will consist of: Providing and installing a needlepoint bipolar ionization system for terminal unit applications as well as air handler applications as indicated and described in the Contract Documents. Installation may consist of duct alterations, air handler access (return duct removal for access), and ionization accessory installation including brackets, mounting magnets, power supply mounts etc. The Mechanical Contractor shall be responsible for daily clean-up, ceiling tile removal, storage and replacement, and project coordination. The Mechanical Contractor shall also be responsible for any incidental general construction items that may be required. Electrical work will consist of: Extending circuitry and providing toggle disconnects for the ionization power units as indicated and described in the Contract Documents. Running wiring as required for installation of the ionization units described in the Contract Documents. No pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled at this time. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to accept or reject any or all Bids All Bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their Bids, as provided by Section 43-07-12 of the ND Century Code. No Bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to Bond and Licenses, and any deficient Bid submitted will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 30 days after the actual opening of Bids.
