Project Description of Work: RCFPD Fire Station #176 Site Improvements Project. The scope of work to be performed consists of, but not limited to, partial clear and grub, demolition and patch and repair of existing concrete curb as required, partial demolition of existing site walls, new sand bag concrete pad, earthwork regrading, removal of existing sand bag concrete k-rails, relocation or capping of existing irrigation within area of work, installation of new site cmu site walls, and installation of new stone gravel. The contract documents call for 30 working days to complete this construction. Engineer's Estimate range from $90,000 to $110,000. Bid Security: Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the form and amount specified in Public Contract Code Sections 20170 and 20171. In accordance with provisions of Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code, the District has determined that Contractor shall possess any and all contractors licenses, in form and class as required by any and all applicable laws with respect to any and all of the work to be performed under this contract including, a "Class-A" (General) License or Class "C29" (Masonry) in accordance with the provisions of the Contractor's License Law (California Business and Professions Code, Section 7000 et. seq.). Prevailing Wages: In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770, et seq., of the Labor Code, the Director of the Industrial Relations of the State of California has determined the general prevailing rate of wages applicable to the work to be done. The Contractor will be required to pay to all persons employed on the project by the Contractor sums not less than the sums set forth in the documents entitled "General Prevailing Wage Determination made by the Director of Industrial Relations pursuant to California Labor Code, Part 7, Chapter 1, Article 2, Sections 1770, 1773, 1773.1. Payment Bond and Completion Bond: A Payment Bond and a Completion Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, will be required of the Contractor.
