Estimated Range $1,700,000 - $2,100,000 Contractors and subcontractors on this project will undergo a standardized evaluation upon completion of the work. The results of this evaluation may influence the determination of the contractor's eligibility to bid on future projects as governed by the purchasing policies and city code of the City of Davenport. For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount; and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained The contract time shall be per SUDAS Section 1080-1.02, A.3.b, Approximate Start Date. The contract site is not yet available as the temporary construction easement shown has not been executed. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded on October 28, 2020 and executed by November 4th, 2020. The Notice to Proceed will be issued as soon as the contract is executed by the City and the site is available. The specified start date set by the Notice to Proceed will be approximately two weeks from the date of the Notice. Liquidated damages shall be $200 per day The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities, if it is deemed in the public interest to do so
