Site work for a water / sewer project in El Paso, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The County of El Paso is proposing to construct a detention pond in Tornillo, Texas to mitigate impacts to downstream properties and streets by capturing and detaining the flows in the arroyo. The site of the proposed detention pond is located in the path of a flow path/arroyo extending from the Manny Aguilera Boulevard (FM 3380) to Alameda Avenue (SH 20). The site is generally bounded by Wencho Dr., George Strait Dr., and 5th Street encompassing approximately 5 acres. The property is owned by the County ofEl Paso. The bid price will include implementing storm water pollution prevention best management practices, site clearing and grubbing of the project area, demolition, removal and proper disposal of miscellaneous existing items, excavation of unclassified material, creating a detention pond, installation of drainage improvements including: loose rock riprap, concrete riprap, reinforced concrete flumes, concrete spillways, concrete energy dissipation structures, rock screening, flexible base material, compacted suitable native soils, and installation of site improvements including: rock walls, retaining rock walls, wrought iron fences, wrought iron gates, a pond depth gauge, new warning signs, and 6" concrete driveways. The project description, as shown above, is only a general overview of the project. Contractor shall refer to the project plans, contract documents, and technical specifications for further detailed information. It shall be the proposer's responsibility to check the website prior to the bid opening date to verify whether any addendums have been posted Online. A certified cashier'scheck, payable to the order of Countyof El Pasoor a satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total contract price, executed with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas and must be included in the bid package. The County of El Paso reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any technicalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the County of El Paso for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days, or such longer time as may be required by the funding agencies, from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract Attendees may begin logging-in/dialing-in at 9:45 a.m
