Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in West Fargo, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.

The following two PDFs shall be included in the one email: 1.PDF copy of Bid Security and Contractor's License with filename Sierra Townhomes Bid Security. 2.PDF copy of the Bid Form with filename Sierra Townhomes Bid Form Apparent Low Bidder: The Bid Security, Contractor's License, and any other required documents must be mailed within 2 business days after the bid in order to be considered. Any questions regarding this project may be submitted to the persons Christopher Miller - Developer, Beyond Shelter Inc., Adam Peterson - Architect, Foss Architecture + Interiors. Please provide the following title in the email Subject line: "Sierra Townhomes Bid Question" Single Base Bid will be received for all Work. For accounting and financing purposes, when assembling the Single Base Bid, the Prime bidder shall receive sub bids broken down into separate costs for sitework, and for each Building Phase which will be incorporated into contracts after bidding, per the "Instructions to Bidders". Substantial Completion Date: 455 calendar days (15 months) from Notice to Proceed TWO separate contracts will be issued to a singular bidder, awarding the work as follows: Contract 1: Building Demolition Contract 2: Site Preparation, Site Improvements, and Building Construction All Bids shall be in accordance with Bidding Documents prepared by Foss Architecture & Interiors, 810 1st Avenue North, Fargo, North Dakota, 58102. Partial sets of Bidding Documents may be obtained from Architect only if specific sheet and section numbers desired are included with request. Charges for partial sets will be $5.00 for each Drawing sheet and 45c for each Specification sheet, plus sales tax and postage. No refund will be made for partial sets of Bidding Documents. Completeness and adequacy of the list of documents requested shall be the responsibility of person making request. Addenda will not be submitted to those receiving partial sets of Bidding Documents. Each contractor submitting a bid must have a copy of his North Dakota Contactor's License or certificate of renewal thereof, issued by the Secretary of State included in the emailed PDF bid submission, must be licensed for the highest amount of his total bid combination including add alternates, and such license must have been in effect at least 10 days prior to the date of the bid opening. No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the provisions herein as to bonds and licenses, and any deficient bid submitted will be rejected. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a separate PDF copy containing a Bidder's bond in a sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this state, conditioned that if the principal's Bid be accepted and the contract awarded to him, he, within ten days after notice of award, will execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of his Bid and a contractor's bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the governing board. Federal (HUD) Section 3, Labor Standard Provisions, and the Equal Opportunity Requirements apply to this project. Note: Section 3 is a provision in the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 with a goal of providing economic opportunities to "Section 3 Residents" and "Section 3 Business Concerns" where "Section 3 Covered Assistance" from HUD is expended on a "Section 3 Covered Project. Project will also be subject to applicable requirements of the Davis-Bacon Acts. Bidder's attention is specifically called to special requirements of minimum wage rates, payroll records requirements of those acts. Bids shall be accompanied by a PDF copy of a certified check or bid bond in the amount equal to 5% of the highest amount of Bids as guarantee that Bidder will within 10 days after Notice of Award enter into Contract with Owner in accordance with terms of his Bids and these Bidding Documents. Bid security shall be made payable to Owner, the Housing Authority of Cass County. Bid security of two lowest Bidders will be retained until Contract has been awarded and executed, but not longer than 60 days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities therein. 1. Complete electrical power system to and including light fixtures, equipment, motors, outlets, etc. 2. Complete electrical power service system from the utility distribution to and including service entrance equipment and metering 3. Complete grounding system. 4. Complete closed-circuit camera system. 5. Telephone and data outlets and conduit. 6. Wiring of equipment furnished by others.
