A. Work of the contract consists in providing mobilization of sufficient workforce, equipment and supervision to complete the rehabilitation of the lift stations listed under item B. Contractor shall review the entirety of the contract documents for the full details of the work involved. The rehabilitation work generally includes but is not limited to: all necessary permits, site preparation, dewatering & groundwater control for open cut construction, removal & disposal of accumulated solids from wet wells and valve vaults, by-pass pumping, and selective demolition & modifications as indicated by the contract documents; installation of new submersible pumps, piping, valves and associated fittings; retrofitting existing access hatches with safety grating or installation of new access hatches with safety grating; recoating of wet wells; civil modifications as indicated by the contract documents and including fence replacement or addition, driveway modifications, and re-grading; electrical improvements including new electrical services, control & SCADA panels with sun shields, terminal boxes, transducers, air cells with pressure switches, and site lighting; together with all related subsidiary and incidental components as shown in the contract documents.
